INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL GUIDED SURGERY: HANDS-ON

This introductory program is perfectly suited for the general dentist wanting to embrace the enormous benefits and broad application of guided surgery. This half day training program will focus on the entire digital workflow (model based intra-oral scanning and digital virtual planning). Available today for the management of patients requiring the replacement of the single tooth.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Lean how to take an intra oral scan
  • Learn how to merge an STL file (intra oral scan) and a DICOM file (CBCT images)
  • Learn to perform digital planning for prosthetically driven implant placement for the single implant
  • Learn how to communicate with the dental laboratory for the fabrication of a surgical guide and the fabrication of an immediate provisional restoration
